Remembering Chipman Point
A young, inexperienced sailor buys an old sailboat in a big promise he made to himself and to others long ago—that one day he’d sit by the water, write stories and poems, and become a sailor. At historic Chipman Point in Shoreham, Vermont, the traveler documents this season of his life while living aboard and learning to sail a 1979 Glastron Spirit 28 sailboat, as he shares poems and other stories, navigating the running waters of his life.
